Shoes and Inserts

Gel Inserts are here! We are proud to announce the premiere of our gel insole. This insole is NOT coded nor reviewed by Medicare. We recommend using it in the shoes of arthritics, non-diabetics with foot issues, and others who need that extra bit of comfort for their feet. The insert is constructed in three layers; the top cover is made from a proprietary leather-like material, the middle layer of plastazote, and the bottom cover of polyurethane with gel material in the heel and metatarsal areas for added support. This construction makes it more comfortable and longer wearing with less bottoming out than our standard heat moldable insert.
One pair of gel inserts is available for $14 with a suggested patient price of $29.95. Please call 1--800-556-5572 for details.

What exactly is a gusset?
The Betsy womenˇ¦s dress/casual shoe has a unique styling and functional design on the lateral side of the shoe called a gusset.? This feature allows the shoe to flex and stretch dorsally and increases the shoeˇ¦s comfort. We know that you and your patients will love it.

Brian says that our new Athletic Shoes absolutely will not slip in the heel. Based on the same last as the rest of our product line, the new light-weight athletic shoes are lasted to fit full in the forefoot, but snug in the heel.? These shoes simply will not slip in the heel. The firm Dr. Comfort heel counter ensures that the back of the shoe will not break down like some counters used in lower quality footwear.? In addition, the light-weight EVA and rubber outsole contains a composite shank and a stabilizer bar for extra plantar support and is sufficiently wide to provide stability on all surfaces.

Brianˇ¦s Fitting TipˇK Want to make the shoe fitting process easier on you and your patients? Try the new Dr. Comfort Fitting Stool. The Stool offers a more comfortable alternative to being on your hands and knees. It is made of durable Lucite and has a rubber inlay to prevent your patientˇ¦s foot from sliding while you are fitting them. Stools similar to this retail for $150-$180; but, for a limited time, Dr. Comfort will be offering it to our current customers for $49 plus shipping and handling (between $15-$20).
